Lifehack: Fix Ma Brooch

O Greetings!
*with a bit sorrow feeling of depressed and shocked face*

How do you feel when you break something that you are supposed to take care of it the most? I hate to say this T_T

I love collecting brooches instead of wearing them often because I'm too afraid for breaking or making them dirty. One day, it happened. The only Victorian brooch I have fell down on the floor when I was trying to pin it on my work shirt. I don't know what it is made of, all I know is kind of stone, and it was shattered in pieces when it touched the ground.

There will be no other brooch like this huhuhu T_T

Why was I so sadly reckless T_T

Thinking I still could fix it, I gathered all stickable the pieces and left it in the drawer until I bought a strong adhesive glue.

Thank god it looked like a brooch again, even though there are pieces can't be flawlessly clinged. After all, I'm satisfied with my fixing.

Tadaaa~~
*and then mourning to see the rough cuts*

It may sound too serious, but I saw those pieces are like broken trust. In one time, we had ever done something that let our beloved ones down. We clearly saw the cracks, the scratches, or whatever it was, which are never be united. We could fix it, but would never be the same again.

Friday Five: Gender Roles

1. How are you stereotypically female?

I like beauty and fashion stuff mostly in eclectic way (got that word from a reader’s comment and it suits me well) and some in general. I can spend hours in a boudoir. Luckily, I can sing with mezzo soprano ranged voice which is impossible to fake my voice like a male.

2. How are you stereotypically male?

I live in an environment where girls adores K-POP so much, that they think “rough” music is just for men, so I guess they think I have men’s music taste. Hey, I also share shirts with my brother. He knows I hate pink. Shopping centre is definitely not my thing.

3. What parts of you do you consider unclassifiable as either gender?

Creativity, open mind, introvert.

4. Do you think you are primarily male, female, or neither in characteristics?

Technically and psychologically, I’m a female with manly hints.

5. If you could be born as any gender, knowing the gender prejudices as they are now, which would you used to be?

Sometimes I wish I was a man for foolish reasons, like Trystan said, I wonder how it feels like to do the standing pee, also not experiencing PMS. LMAO. However, I am grateful for as what I was born, proud to be a woman yay!

Questions are culled from The Friday Five on LiveJournal , and I got them from Trystan L. Bass of This Is CorpGoth

What I was wearing: red top and vintage long beige skirt with buttons, got them both from my mom when she was 17 :p

Lifehack : Find A Lace For The Skirt

I don't own many skirts. Once I have the most favorite one, I rarely wear it, and suddenly the beloved skirt changes into smaller size.... or that's me who grows bigger. So when I force my waist to fit in, the skirt lace is fragmented x'D

Am I really that fat?

Well, the lace was made of thin faux leather. No wonder it was very fragile since I found it at local market about 4 years ago. I don't try to find another reason okay :p

I was thinking how to replace the faux leather with something bigger but looking nice. And I got my bulb shining on my head: shoe lace. I have several unused shoe laces in plain colors, which I used to wear at high school.

The shoe lace

Some people may think it is kind of weird to see shoe lace worn on a cloth, but hey, that's what I called being creative.

I choose the bright blue one to make it contrast with the skirt. Just throw the leather, put the shoe lace in the holes, and done!

Don't use any tights because the weather is such a schorcher.

The skirt may seem a bit tight for my belly. Ehm, I've gained 10 kg after high school graduated! Hahahahaha~

This is CorpGoth Mid-Month Status Report: Office Make-Up Style

I made this post due to join the mid-month status report created by Trystan L. Bass of This is CorpGoth. The theme now is your make up style in the office certainly as a rocking CorpGoth. Oh, i should have followed her from yesterdays. No lies, her style is awesome. Hello, Mrs. Trystan. I'm your new reader. Greetings from Indonesia! *waving hands*

Do you wear?
Yup. Even though I work as an accountant, facing computer and papers - not public, I wear make up mostly at work.

How often?
I wear make up every work day.

What kind?
Sometimes I go bold with all-black eyes, sometimes just natural look. The products I use are from various brand. My eyes can be easily swollen and hurt if I sleep late so I can't wear any eye make up regularly (especially bold eyeliner :( ) . Besides, I rarely wear lipstick since I prefer let it pale only with lipbalm. After all, i would never leave home without moisturizer, primer, BB cream and loose powder. Looking flawless (and a bit pale) is the best appearance for me, teehee..

My make up routine for the work day is like this:
Moisturizer - Make Up Base - Concealer - BB Cream - Eye Shadow - Eyeliner - Loose Powder - Blusher/Bronzer - Lipstick/Liptint/Lipbalm

The part I always miss is concealer and blusher. I'm just too lazy for hiding permanent dark circle except for some particular events, while I use blusher if I think it's necessary.

Here's my look based on the tutorial i've made right here.

Alright, my mid-month status report is done! How's yours?
